2025 Canterbury Crest Annual Meeting – Replay
In the meeting you’ll hear from each of Canterbury Crest’s family of workers as they share with you about their role in fulfilling our mission of supporting Christian Science healing through the ministry of Christian Science nursing.
Canterbury Crest Vision and Mission
Canterbury Crest is unique among the various organizations supporting Christian Science nursing.
This past year, the Board took some time to look at the Mission of Canterbury Crest and to draft its Strategic Plan for 2025 – 2030. We participated in “revisioning” discussions as a Board and ultimately developed a combined Vision-Mission-Impact statement.
Our goal was to have a statement that easily communicated what we are, what we are doing, and why!
VISION
Every student of Christian Science in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska, and Hawaii is readily able to receive the nursing care they want, where they want it or need it.
MISSION
To support healing through the ministry of Christian Science nursing
HOW – by providing salaried Field Rep positions to Christian Science nurses as financial support to locate in the Pacific Northwest and build a thriving practice; to help educate Christian Scientists, their families, and friends about Christian Science nursing services and available resources and benevolence.
Christian healing is happening!
Christian Science nursing is a spiritual ministry. This caring activity is grounded in the Bible-based teachings of Christian Science and impelled by Christ Jesus’ command to “Love one another.” (John 13:34)
