Christian Healing is happening!!
It has been said that at the intersection of compassion and practical care one finds Comfort’s Art.
Christian Science nursing is a spiritual ministry. This caring activity is grounded in the Bible-based teachings of Christian Science and impelled by Christ Jesus’ command to “Love one another.” (John 13:34) It is Comfort’s Art in action
Christian Science nurses partake in this Christian healing ministry by providing skilled, non-medical assistance and care for those in need – those who have chosen to rely on Christian Science for healing. Although many people experience Christian healing on their own – as a result of reading or studying the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy – at times there may be a need for additional, more physical care. Working in tandem with the patient and a Christian Science practitioner*, the Christian Science nurse lovingly attends to the patient’s physical needs.
This type of nursing relies implicitly on the teachings of Christ Jesus, the power and omnipotence of God, and the tangible care necessary to bring about Christian healing. Christian Science nurses are trained professionals in accordance with the Church Manual of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
Healing is happening
and is available to all!!

Ask God to give thee skill

In comfort’s art:
That thou may’st consecrated be
And set apart
Unto a life of sympathy.
For heavy is the weight of ill
In every heart;
And comforters are needed much
Of Christlike touch.
