Service in the Field The Ultimate Remote Workers – not just in one place…
The Canterbury Crest model is designed to make Christian Science nursing available in local church communities across the Pacific Northwest, including Alaska and Hawaii. You might say that’s a huge area, and you’d be right!
Canterbury Crest is not a Christian Science nursing service, however, there is support to those services as well as facilities by working with them as a collaborative team. Canterbury Crest encourages Field Reps to work up to 7-days a month at an accredited Christian Science care facility.
Canterbury Crest IS NOT a Christian Science visiting nurse service.

CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSE
Independent Private Duty A Christian Science nurse is professionally trained and is hired independently by those in need.
Call to HIRE an independent Christian Science nurse to:
- Make an assessment to determine extent of care needed and to provide immediate care if needed.
- Consult with patient, family members, and the Christian Science Practitioner on the case (requirement for care).
- Draft and be part of a personalized Care Plan if on-going care is necessary. This plan includes a description of care needed as well as suggested supplies and equipment.
- HEALING: Christian Science nurses expect those in their care to find their freedom and return to normal activities.

Q: Does Canterbury Crest loan equipment (ie: walker, wheelchairs, etc)?
A: Yes, after an initial assessment. A Christian Science nurse can make recommendations for appropriate equipment in conjunction with Canterbury Crest Field Representatives. Each Field Rep has access to storage units with various equipment (Temporary aids /equipment; sometimes supplies)
Q: I live on a fixed income. How can I afford Christian Science nursing services?
